Firefighting has been scaled back at the Springfield Mill incident in Sandiacre.
Police, and Firefighters from Ascot Drive Fire Station will remain in attendance overnight with one fire engine and one aerial ladder platform.
The fire is now believed to be out, but firefighters will regularly inspect the site for any hotspots throughout the night.
A fire investigation into the cause of the fire will reconvene in the morning.
A further update will be issued at 10:00 hours on the 23 April 2020.
