At 08:58 hours today, 4 March 2021, fire crews were called to attend a serious bungalow fire on Alfreton Road, Blackwell.
Firefighters from Alfreton and Nottinghamshire’s Ashfield Station attended the incident.
One occupant was out the property on arrival of fire crews, and handed into the care of East Midlands Ambulance Service.
Derbyshire Constabulary were also in attendance and put a road closure in place.
A joint police and fire investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
