Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service responds to HMICFRS report into values and culture

Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service (DFRS) welcomes and acknowledges the release of His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabularies and Fire and Rescue Services (HMICFRS) spotlight report into values and culture across 44 fire and rescue services in England.

The Service prides itself on its own long established core values and culture, however, DFRS will now take the time to review the recommendations in the HMICFRS report and ensure an action plan is in place to address any gaps that aren’t already addressed or committed to within Our Plan 2023-2026 for Derbyshire.

At DFRS, our people are extremely important to us and will remain at the forefront of our work going forward. We will continue to keep our communities updated on all progress made against Our Plan in due course.
