At 16.45 on Monday 27 July 2020 crews were called to an industrial fire at a premise off Chatsworth Avenue, Long Eaton.
In attendance were 3 appliances from Long Eaton and Ilkeston with the Aerial Lift Platform (ALP) from Ascot Drive.
We were assisted by crews from Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire. Nottinghamshire provided an appliance from Highfields, an appliance from Stapleford and an incident command unit from Mansfield. Leicestershire assisted with an appliance from Castle Donington and a water carrier from Loughborough.
The crew from Long Eaton revisited the scene the morning of Tuesday 28 July 2020 to check for hot spots and damp down.
Crews are no longer at the scene.
The most likely cause was identified as accidental, due to sparks from an industrial process coming into contact with combustible materials.
