At 17:31 hours yesterday, 23 August 2021, crews from Chesterfield, Staveley (On-Call and Wholetime), Clay Cross, and Nottingham Road were called to an incident at a two-storey terraced property on St Helens Street, Chesterfield.
The property suffered structural damage, trapping two female and one male occupant inside.
All three occupants were rescued by crews and handed into the care of East Midlands Ambulance Service and the HART Team.
Derbyshire police were in attendance to liaise with emergency planning to ensure residents’ safety and wellbeing, and also put a road closure in place to ensure public safety. Derbyshire Building Control Partnership and gas and electricity boards were also in attendance.
The scene has now been cordoned off for public safety and handed to the police. A joint police and fire investigation will take place once the building is safe to do so.
