Fatal House Fire - Mundy Street, Derby


At 10.38 hours today, Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service was called to attend a house fire on Mundy Street, Derby.

Fire crews from Nottingham Road, Ascot Drive and Kingsway attended the fire and remain on scene.

Tragically a lady in her mid-70’s has died as a result of her injuries.  Our thoughts and sympathy go out to the family and friends of the deceased at this distressing time.

A joint fire investigation with Derbyshire Constabulary will take place to ascertain the cause of the fire.
