The Benefits of Exercise

If exercise were a pill, it would be one of the most cost-effective drugs ever invented. Taking 30 minutes activity on 5 or more days of the week will have general health benefits while improving fitness.

How much exercise should we be doing?

To stay healthy or to improve health, adults need to do two types of physical activity each week: aerobic (such as cycling or fast-walking) and muscle-strengthening (muscle resistance) activity. But just how much physical activity do adults aged 19-64 years old need to do to keep healthy?
