Consultation - Have your say on Our Plan and Our Budget
The consultation ran from 2 December 2022 until the 13 January 2023.
Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service (DFRS) asked for your views on its draft Community Risk Management Plan 2023-2026, known as ‘Our Plan’, and its 2023 – 2024 Budget in a six-week consultation.
In order to balance our budget and fund investment in the Service and our communities a 5% increase in council tax in line with proposed government thresholds was agreed at the Fire and Rescue Authority meeting held on 9th February 2023, a summary of the Council Tax levels for 2023/24 can be found here. The results of the CRMP consultation were also reported to the same meeting and no issues arose which required a change to the content of the CRMP. The reports and minutes of the Fire Authority meeting can be accessed here. The final CRMP document will be taken to the Fire Authority meeting on 30th March 2023 for consideration and approval.
