Community Work

Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service proactively engage with Derbyshire, providing fire safety advice, safe and well checks, youth schemes and other targeted initiatives, some in conjunction with our partner organisations.

The Service has a dedicated Youth Team who engage with young people within Derbyshire. There are a number of programmes aimed at young people, including Youth Engagement Scheme (YES! Compact)Derbyshire Fire Cadets, Young Driver Education (YDE) and the FireSAFE Scheme.
