We are investigating Electrical Fires with over 65 data sets (Exeter). We are looking for all dwelling fires and Casualty Data with corresponding details to provide us with comparisons to work with and joined to over 65s.

Earlier this year we piloted in London and the SE on electrical fires, however linking with over 65's and comparisons to other fires provides an additional depth to the results.

Therefore, we require the following IRS data from you please to assist us with this work.

Dwelling Fire Data:

Time Period: Fiscal 2014/15, 2015/16, 2016/17 (1st April to 31st March).

IRS Data needed:

Dwelling fires with defect act or emission and item source

Source of ignition

Cause (accidental/deliberate)

Cause (fault in equipment (or appliance), Faulty fuel supply-electric, Faulty leads to equipment (or appliance), Negligent use of equipment)

Dwelling type (house, flat etc)

Eastings and Northings.

Date

Time

Incident joined to over 65 residences - i.e. simple column with 'over 65 Yes / No'.

 

Casualty Fire Data:

Time Period: Fiscal 2014/15, 2015/16, 2016/17 (1st April to 31st March).

IRS Data needed:

Dwelling fires only

Eastings and Northings

Age of Casualty (i.e. simple column with 'over 65 Yes / No').

Casualty due to electrical fire or not

Date

Time
