Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service in the News

Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service is an organisation that is constantly in the news, whether it is about the latest incident that firefighters have attended or for its work in the local community. Keeping the media, public and partners up to date with the latest news about incidents and community safety initiatives is vital.

The Service works closely with the media on highlighting and promoting the work it carries out. This is done through the regular issue of press releases, the organisation of photo calls and working with the media on features and interviews. Information about incidents for the media is provided through a Voicebank service.
