Group Manager Steve McLernon said: "We are holding a number of public consultation events across the County giving people the opportunity to talk to our Officers about the proposals being put forward.

"There will be an opportunity to take the Survey at these events and I would encourage anyone who is unable to attend one of these events to take the time to visit our website, www.derbys-fire.gov.uk and look at the proposals being put forward and let the Service know their views via the online consultation survey."

Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service welcomes comments and views from all of its stakeholders and encourages everyone to take part in the online 'Fit to Respond' consultation. Full information about the proposals along with the survey is available at www.derbys-fire.gov.uk
