Have you ever wondered what really goes on in a fire station?  Well now is your chance to find out. Alfreton Community Fire Station will be opening its doors to members of the public on Saturday, 21 July 2012 from 12:00 hours until 16:00 hours for a fun packed and informative day.

It is a day for the whole family to attend with the following attractions and stands:

 Demonstrations by Firefighters
 Chip pan demonstration
 Smoke tent
 Have a look around a fire engine
 Home fire safety
 Bouncy Castle
 Slide
 Face painting
 Police
 HART Team (East Midlands Ambulance Service, Hazardous Area Response Team)
 Ox Box
 Food and Drinks

So why not come along and meet your local Firefighters and see for yourself the great work that is carried out not only by Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service, but also the Police and Ambulance Service.
