Community Fire Safety Champions
Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service is looking for people to become community fire safety champions in their local community or workplace.
The idea behind the scheme is to spread the word about the importance of fire safety in the home as wide as possible across the county and raise awareness about the impact fire can have on lives.
Members of the scheme sign up to receive information about the latest campaigns being run and supported by the Service, which they then pass on to their local community, organisation or workplace, or put up the campaign posters in community centres, meeting centres or workplaces.
If you would like to become a Community Fire Safety Champion, email your name and address (please include your postcode) to firesafetychampions@derbys-fire.gov.uk.
Your details will be stored electronically on a database, which will be reviewed on an annual basis. You can ask to be removed from the database at any time. Your details will not be used for any other purpose.
