Derbyshire's Chief Fire Officer Live on BBC Breakfast
Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service's Chief Fire Officer/Chief Executive, Sean Frayne, appeared live on BBC One's, prime time Breakfast Show on Monday 18 June in a series of television broadcasts to highlight the potential lifesaving attributes of domestic sprinkler systems.
In three live bulletins produced by John Maguire for the BBC, CFO Frayne talked about the benefits of having domestic sprinklers fitted into all new homes and retro fitted where possible.
Pre-recorded segments of the programme also showed Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Services' Deputy Chief Fire Officer, Chris Enness, who is the lead on sprinklers for the Chief Fire Officer Association, talking about the merits of domestic sprinkler systems, alongside residents of a sheltered housing block in Sheffield, where domestic sprinklers have already been retro fitted.
You can watch a compiled version of the footage on the Sprinkler Video Gallery page.
